A documentary by Robert Greenwald painting a picture of voter suppression in the 2018 midterm election and renewed suppression tactics for the 2020 election.
This documentary weaves personal stories from voters across the state of Georgia of voter suppression in the hotly contested Governor's race of 2018 and then reflects upon their relevance in the voter suppression tactics used for the 2020 election. A panel discussion highlighting resources for taking action will be held following the screening of the film. Helen Butler and Safia Malin will be the panelist. Audience participation is encouraged.
Helen Butler serves as Executive Director of the Georgia Coalition of the Peoples' Agenda, an advocacy organization comprised of representatives from the human rights, civil rights, environmental, labor, women, young professionals, youth, elected officials, peace and justice groups throughout the State of Georgia founded by the late Dr. Joseph E. Lowery.
Safia Malin is an outreach paralegal with the Southern Poverty Law Center's voting rights group. The Southern Poverty Law Center's voting rights practice group, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is comprised of legal, data and community organizing experts. SPLC is committed to addressing systemic voter suppression to ensure that all citizens can exercise their fundamental right to vote.

Headquarters Library is the largest of the six branches in the Clayton County Library System and offers many activities for people of all ages, including weekly storytimes for preschool children, daily family arts and crafts and computer classes for adults.
The Headquarters library offers numerous public computer workstations, research assistance at the Information Desk, open use tables, comfortable seating areas, and two meeting rooms that are available for booking by the public.
