Happy 2026!! The Kims are back! Join us for the next episode of LITimate Conversations featuring special guest Hannah S. Palmer, author of The Pool Is Closed. We’re especially excited to welcome Hannah in person for this powerful and timely conversation. She’ll share insights on storytelling, community, and the importance of confronting history through literature. Our library is honored and excited to be part of this important work, using literature as a bridge to inspire empathy, healing, and meaningful conversations within our community.
Be part of the live audience! The first 20 guests to arrive will receive a free copy of one of Hannah S. Palmer’s books. Don’t miss this engaging conversation that brings literature and healing together.
This program is made possible through a stipend provided by the American Library Association (ALA), the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), and the National Day of Racial Healing initiative. The conversation aligns with the tenets of the National Day of Racial Healing by creating space for honest dialogue, reflection, and community connection through stories that explore equity, history, and shared understanding.
