NW MakerSpace / Craft RoomCelebrate Chinese New Year by creating your own colorful paper lantern! Kids will learn about the traditions behind this bright holiday and design festive lanterns to light up the season.
To encourage creativity while introducing children to the cultural traditions of Chinese New Year through a fun, hands-on paper craft. The program promotes cultural awareness, and artistic expression while celebrating the Chinese New Year.

Northwest, the newest library branch for the Clayton County Library System, features enclosed and individual study/work rooms and meeting rooms designed for daily functions. Northwest opened to the public on March 1, 2021.
The Maker Space includes creative activities and features equipment such as Dremel 3D printers, modular robotics, and music production kits. The furniture, fixtures, and equipment is mobile and easy to move around and includes furniture with charging stations for phones, laptops, and other mobile devices.
