A 7-week program that will meet regularly to introduce children ages 8-12 to the song flute and simple music notation.
This is a 7-week program designed to introduce children between the ages of 8-12 to the song flute and simple music notation. Students will receive song flutes and instruction books (for library use only) to learn and perform melodies. The program will conclude with a short demonstration concert where children will perform what they have learned. In a friendly environment, they will learn important techniques. The class is scheduled for Mondays, starting April 8 to May 20, from 4:00-5:00 pm. Please note that the space available for this event is limited, so registration is necessary.
